Chandra Asri Group Holds Community Awareness 2026, Educating Panggung Rawi Residents on Gas Pipeline Safety

Chandra Asri Group once again conducted its Community Awareness activity on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. This program was aimed at dozens of residents living along the gas pipeline in Panggung Rawi Urban Village, Jombang District, Cilegon City.

The implementation of this activity was driven by the importance of building collective awareness in maintaining the safety of the gas pipeline around their living environment. In addition to providing an understanding of potential risks and their mitigation steps, this agenda aimed to enhance the community's capacity and preparedness in facing emergencies, while strengthening a safety culture and synergy among the company, local government, relevant authorities, and residents.

The series of events was highly interactive and educational. It began with a socialization session by Chandra Asri's Pipeline Team and SHE Team regarding pipeline safety regulations and activities to avoid around the area. The Cilegon City BPBD also provided appeals on the importance of maintaining this vital infrastructure for mutual safety.

Entering the practical session, Chandra Asri's Fire Team guided a fire emergency response simulation. Here, residents gained direct experience regarding proper evacuation procedures, initial actions upon detecting fire, and techniques for using Light Fire Extinguishers (APAR) safely and correctly.

As the program concluded, Chandra Asri Group symbolically handed over APAR assistance to the Panggung Rawi Urban Village government and distributed medical kits to all attending residents. Through this sustainable education, it is hoped that environmental preparedness around the company's operational areas will grow stronger for our mutual safety.
